PAL flies to New York!

Qantas signs 10-year deal for A380 upkeep in Manila

Qantas has entered into a 10-year contract with Manila-based Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) for the “base maintenance” (heavy maintenance) of its Airbus A380 fleet. 

Base maintenance, in airline terms, consists of the major engineering checks, such as the “C check” performed about once every two years, and the “D check”, the most comprehensive and demanding check for an aircraft, performed about once every six years.

APBC wraps up for 2014

The APBC wishes to thank our members and supporters for what has been a successful and progressive year!

Early in 2014, we represented the interest of our members in the Philippine Australian Ministerial Meeting (PAMM) in Manila, between the Australian Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop and Trade Minister, Andrew Rob and their Philippine Counterparts, Foreign Secretary Albert Del Rosario and Trade Secretary Gregorio Domingo. In the same event we hosted a breakfast for the Premier of NSW to meet heads of Philippine business from SM, Filinvest, Alsons and many others.
