The APBC works closely with its counterpart in the Philippines the Philippine Australia Business Council. The APBC also maintains its relations with the Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (ANZCHAM) and the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc based in Manila and various regional Chambers of Commerce.
Philippines-Australia Business Council
The Philippines-Australia Business Council (PABC) was organised in 1975 jointly by the Philippine Chamber of Industries and the Council for Economic Development. The PABC was organised to promote trade, economic & technical cooperation and tourism between the Philippines and Australia.
The Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce
The Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (Philippines), Inc. was originally formed as an Australian business association in the early 1970s. In 1981, it was incorporated as the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce
In broad terms, the Federation's paramount objectives are to foster the growth of trade and industries in the Philippines; to cooperate with the Philippines Government in implementing its national policies and development goals; promote the integration of local Chinese into the mainstream of Philippine society; help maintain high standards in business and trade dealings irrespective of nationality or religion.
