With the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down nearly all face-to-face events, we have all learned to make the most out of virtual meetings and the like. But nothing beats in-person gatherings when it comes to bringing people together, networking and relationship building.
APBC Victoria hosted Cocktails & Conversations in Melbourne on 31 March 2022, APBC’s first F2F event this year. Held back to back with a webinar on Health Information Management, also hosted by APBC Victoria jointly with the Philippine Dept of Trade and Industry in Sydney and the Health Information Management Association of the Philippines, the evening function was attended by Philippine Consul General to Melbourne Ma. Lourdes Salcedo, Deputy Consul Anthony Mandap, and executives from Victoria International Container Terminal, San Miguel Yamamura, Visy and a diverse mix of SMEs including law firms, resources consultancies, financial services, media, health and real estate.
Sponsored by San Miguel Yamamura, the event also showcased Woomera, the company’s line of wines developed for the Filipino palate, in a wine tasting feature led by Ian Matthews, wine specialist and Portavin Melbourne Managing Director.
