The Australia Philippines Business Council has releases Episodes 3 and 4 of their 12-part YouTube Video Series – A Taste of the Philippines.
The series features Regional Filipino and Australian dishes and destinations that feature on their YouTube Channel.
These videos are meant to make you reminisce about home-style cooking in the Philippines and at the same time, showcase some of the innovative ways Filipino/Australians have adopted their skills into Australian culture.
Episode 3 features a recipe for Charred Eggplant Omelette inspired by Shargao in the Philippines. It is prepared by renowned cookbook author and international foodie Yasmin Newman.
Episode 4 follows with Ross Many of Sarai Kitchen in Melbourne. Ross prepares his famous version of Grilled Lamb Chops influenced by Filipino flavours using the best cuts form South Australia.
APBC has received grant funding from the Australia-ASEAN Council of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to produce this 12-episode series. The first two episodes were launched at the APBC End of Year Celebrations in Sydney on December 2, and the final episode will air on Australia Day (January 26).
