After much anticipation, the APBC held the first Networking Night in Brisbane for 2024. A fantastic night igniting collaboration, discussion and connections. Hosted by Vice President of Queensland Dennis Grundel and President Rafael Toda. the APBC welcomed over 30 guests at Riverland on 23 April against the spectacular backdrop of the Brisbane River with the iconic Brisbane Story Bridge bathed in the vibrant hues of blue, red, and yellow resembling the Philippine flag.
Representatives from esteemed organisations, including Austrade, the Philippines Consulate General Cyclion, DysrupIT, Jacinto Group, Austmine, PCA, Transcale, James Cook University, APEG, Seismic Asia Pacific, and many others.
President Toda’s welcome speech set the tone, providing the latest updates and a roadmap for the evening. Honorary Consul Sheryll Gabutero from the Philippine Consulate General Brisbane and Luisa Rust Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner – Designate – Austrade (Manila) shared updates and initiatives reflecting optimism and confidence for the ongoing relationships between Australia and the Philippines.
