A very productive and significant series of APBC-organized meetings took place on March 24, 2025, in Western Australia, attended by top executives from the Bases Conversion & Development Authority (BCDA) and Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC): Ken Peralta – BCDA VP for Investment Promotions & Marketing; Mae Perez – BCDA VP for Business Development; Joseph Alcazar – CIAC President & CEO; and Brando Aguilera – CIAC VP for Operations & Business Development.
These meetings aimed to strengthen ties with key industry players in logistics, agriculture, and aviation. The key highlights of the meetings were exclusive tours of Qantas Freight and Menzies Freight at Perth Airport and Murdoch University Food Futures Institute.
The finale was a Meet and Greet with APBC WA (hosted by the Australian Institute of Career Education, a member of APBC) and key business leaders and government representatives, including Philippine Honorary Consul Melissa Aguasa, David Lamb, Phil Turtle, and other APBC members. Jenny Ryall, APBC VP for WA, facilitated round-table discussions where BCDA and CIAC delegates presented their initiatives, highlighting CIAC’s bid to host the Routes Asia 2027 Conference. Virma Symons, Senior Strategic Advisor to APBC, was crucial in supporting the delegates throughout all meetings.
With new partnerships and valuable industry insights, this visit paves the way for Clark’s growth as a premier logistics, business, and aviation hub.
